SEXUAL SIN IS LIKE A PLAGUE, IT COVERS THE ENTIRE WORLD THERE IS NO AREA WHERE LIFE EXIST THAT IS UNTOUCHED BY IT
Did you know that in every walk of life regardless of religion, race, country or even continent, sexual sins exist? It crosses ALL barriers and absolutely no place on the earth where human beings exist, is protected or exempt from or without sexual sins (even in the animal kingdom.) Sex is so powerful and the desire so strong, that some past theologians argued that angels called “The Nephilim” sought to mate with earthly women. (Genesis 6: 1-“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” I say “absolute” proof is still out on this claim but we do know angels can take different shapes if they desire. Hence the scripture (Hebrews 13:2) “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” This must mean that angels can take on a human form, or a form that we can believe or accept. As this is not my main interest (sex with angels and humans) I did not do a study on this scripture and therefore cannot validate claims made by these theologians but if interested, there is plenty of information for one to draw their own conclusions on this topic. My point is to raise awareness, getting pastors and spiritual leaders to put sexual sin in its proper context. We each need to question and seek a better understanding as to why these things must be seen as more than “just abuse.”
On its own, sexual intercourse is a wonderful, intimate and bonding act when performed between a husband and wife; it is biblically proven to have specific God, oriented purposes. As Satan is a destroyer, he has used (since the beginning of man’s creation) what God created and said “was good,” to the detriment and destruction of many. Perverting everything (including sex) by way of distortion, twisting and lying, Satan cleverly continues to play with human feelings, thoughts, desires and emotions by tricking the mind. The plan of marriage and sex (on the surface) seems to be (even for leaders) just an earthly thing people do. But upon taking a deeper look, we will find there is much more to sex, God’s plan and the devils job in it than it appears. Because of its ability to bond couples with each other and God, (all in a biblical sense) it is the family. It is also the foundation of a “heavenly” plan that Satan never stops seeking to prevent.
Even if you are abiding by all the right rules, when it comes to sex, you could still be tempted in many ways, even if only by lust of the eye. If by God’s grace, you are so strong that you have overcome “all” sexual temptation or desires, then remember someone you know may be bound by sexual sins and problems. This leaves no one the room or right to judge. Living, learning and loving the life of sanctification is a lifelong ongoing process. Many will make it through to the end and many that started out will be tempted or drawn by sexual sins and yes they will fall, being forever lost, (1Timothy 4:1) says "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines." Many more who never knew of God will learn of Him coming from under the yoke of sexual bondage (byway of the preached word) running into His graces at the end. (Matt. 20:16) "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” Regardless of all, we (those in ministry,) won’t know who these will be. It is therefore our job to continue to fight against all the evil powers of the devil and sexual sins until we are called home.
PASTORS AND LEADERS, YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO HIDE OR PROTECT A KNOWN SEXUAL ABUSER OR OFFENDER, EVENEVEN IF THEY HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST. THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. YOUR CONCERN IS FOR THE LOST SOULS. OUR ONLY JOB IS TO TELL TELL THE UNCUT WORD OF GOD, LIFTING UP THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS.
Romans 10:14: “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
